Counseling Service

I invite you to be an active participant in shaping your future, a future of happiness, by gaining awareness of your subconscious mind and behavior—especially increasing an emotional connection with your inner parts, which can carry unprocessed trauma from childhood. Since encountering nonviolent communication, I also consider it enormously helpful to become fluent in the vocabulary of feelings and needs, which assists in developing a compassionate, non-judgmental relationship with yourself and others. In turn, we can devise life-enriching, or “win/win,” strategies to get our needs met and simply make life more wonderful.

If you’d like to convene with me online to explore your inner continent either for a single session or many, please email me to setup a convenient time to meet via Skype (or G+ hangouts, or FaceTime) via your personal computer or mobile phone. All you need is a headset (microphone, either built-in or external, and headphones) and a broadband Internet connection. Video connection is preferred but not necessary. I look forward to meeting you and helping you discover your sage-self and your happiness!

A one-hour counseling session is $57 via PayPal directly to wes@happinesscounseling.com or $65 if you click the Buy Now button below, which can process credit cards. I’d be happy to accept payment in Bitcoin as well.

The process of introspection to gain self-knowledge involves discovering your subconscious, making peace with your past—i.e., healing past trauma and growing beyond costly strategies—and living authentically and happily. An ingenious technique called sentence completion exercises can greatly facilitate this. To familiarize yourself with this technique and explore a bit of your inner world, make sure to get the free three-day sentence completion program, which includes some helpful tips, by subscribing to my email list (sidebar, upper right corner).

Sentence completion exercises can help you integrate your difficult emotional experiences and basically feel better in much less time. They can help you open the door to your subconscious processes and become your own best friend. By doing them, you’ll find it much easier to have compassion for yourself and much less daunting to change your mental patterns and behaviors. Being happy can be your conscious purpose. There’s no need to settle for less. Life is way too short (and too long) to be spent feeling miserable, conflicted, or even apathetic—due to unmet needs such as compassion, clarity, harmony, peace, understanding, and meaning.

p.s., Here are some sentence completions exercises to ponder, or better yet, to add six to ten endings for each stem, off the top of your head. The key is to just write/type something as quickly as possible, without censorship or “thinking too much.” You’ll begin giving your subconscious a much needed voice. Remember, if you want a more detailed explanation of this process, please sign up to my email list and you’ll get a free three-day sentence completion program, which includes some helpful tips. Or, visit the resources page, scroll down a bit, and download an entire workbook titled The Art Of Self-Discovery by Nathaniel Branden, which is the most comprehensive workbook on the subject I’ve encountered.
